Llano Museum honors the history of the city, which was once a bustling
iron boomtown.
Louis Bruhl, a former Italian consulate, settled in Llano and became
one of the town's pioneer pharmacists. The store's second location has
become a showcase for Llano's historic mementos.
The museum's exhibits include pioneer household items,
turn-of-the-century tools, jewelry, clothes, furniture and even the
pistols used during the legendary "Fight on Packsaddle Mountain."
Education in Llano is also important. In fact, our mission is to
improve the academic performance of all our students.
The school district includes the Llano and Packsaddle elementary
schools, a junior high school and Llano High School.
You'll also find plenty of higher education opportunities in the area. |
